Popular Post Porker
Well I signed the paper work with a trembling hand, picking up a 2010 Cayman S next Saturday. Got it from Dove House, tried to haggle down, managed to get a few hundred off, bit of a token effort but whatevs. What swung it for me, they are an Indy dealer/workshop with a good rep. They have given it a major service including front disks/pads, drive belt and plugs so don't HAVE to do anything for two years - I'll be doing a low milage so I'm OK with that. I wouldn't have had a clue if that had or hadn't changed the plugs or drive belt so the fact that they did that gives me some kind of warm feeling. Checked the Rev reports, a few hundred on range 1, ten on range 2 with none higher so doesn't appear to have been driven hard. Highish milage but looks quiet clean. A few little nicks in the front bumper plus one 10p sized patch where the laquer and paint is marked. I may get that corrected. has PASM, PCM 3, climate control, parking sensors, 19" Carrera wheels with plenty of life in the tyres. The PASM is why I decided to go for it, not many around and I wanted one in the next month or so as I want to flog my old motor before its MOT/Service/insurance are due. considering my current car has 138hp and I've never spent more than £6k on a car this is quiet the leap for me. Pics to follow next week.... buying a used car is never risk free but we'll see.... Edited July 14, 2016 by Porker Correction

I have an excellent mobile paint man in Worcestershire. Been using him 15 years. He did a similar blemish on my front bumper. Perfect.

Porker
One more sleep until I pick it up, found out that one of my colleagues has an '80s 911 turbo so we mutually reassured each other that it's a perfectly sensible way so spend money. his has gone up in value apparently since he got it, being one of the modern classics.
Popular Post Porker
Well here it is, took a long way home via a pub lunch. Took it quiet easy, it's way more car than I've ever driven! Like the PASM, on non-sport it's actually better over the speed bumps than my MR2. (If anyone want an MR2, it's on eBay! currently outside my house like an unwanted stepchild)

aslan
Congrats, looks in great condition. Have you got much planned for the car? If you're after a bit more noise, I can recommend a Carnewal exhaust, love mine.

Only mod I MAY consider is this... http://www.tpcracing.com/dsc.html A simple plug and play and I can swap back on selling and sell on the module so not sinking as much money The reviews are good, the exchange rate is putting me off at the mo. I've emailed direct, they can ship for $88 by FedEx but haggled him down to half that. Group buy anyone?
