Founder Beanoir™ Posted May 17, 2017 Founder Share Posted May 17, 2017 That's a good looking solution to getting rid of those lumps you guys have to put up with on your bumpers! Nice work

Jo3h
looks great, also the red S looks sweet with the white paint.
TeamAFX
How hard was it to do? What was involved in the conversion? Did you take picks of the steps?
DANNYHOCKIN
Although it's not necessary, It's definitely easier to remove the bumper cover to drill the rivets out that are holding the bumperettes to the bumper. From there, the new panel is placed onto the bumper cover using 3m double sided tape. Also, the license plate screws aid in keeping it secure. It's not hard at all if you have a bit of experience in removing and installing panels from vehicles. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures.
Mike Roever
Good morning, I know this thread is older but was wondering if you sill make the bumperette delegate panels? Looking to get rid of mine in my 2006 Cayman S
DANNYHOCKIN
I do..... But right now i am swamped with another project. Might take a bit to get one to you. Are you looking for a finished carbon fiber part or a paintable fiberglass?
Mike Roever
Fantastic. I’m not in a hurry to get it so waiting isn’t a problem. Can you tell me what the cost is on both the carbon finish versus the paintable fiberglass? Appreciate you getting back to me.
