twopointnine
Is anyone interested in an informal Cayman owners meeting at the Goodwood motor circuit Aero Club cafe this Saturday (7th May) arriving 09:00 to 09:30? The Brighton & Hove motor club are holding a sprint meeting so there will be track action to watch and my experience is that it's free to watch.. Post here if you're planning to attend.
Founder Beanoir™ Posted May 5, 2016 Founder Share Posted May 5, 2016 I would have, but it's my birthday this weekend and Mrs Beanoir is taking me out Given the weather and location though this will be a great day, I'd have certainly come along if I wasn't busy! DJMC
I was there last weekend, purely by chance, as my nephew was getting married nearby. My trip to Sainsburys took me right past the breakfast meeting and its attendant crowds, so I unwittingly joined in the procession of "nice" cars going by. Pretty countryside and good roads, were it not for the snail's pace E-Types and such like!
twopointnine
Looks like I'll not be going to Goodwood this Saturday - my son wants to borrow the car!
Founder Beanoir™ Posted July 12, 2016 Founder Share Posted July 12, 2016 Just thinking about location for you guys on the south coast, how far would you travel for a meet up with others, would the M4 (somewhere near Reading or Henley or similar)? @Bluedot @twopointnine @Red5 @M999PSW
Bluedot
Yep, more than happy with Reading / Henley way
richjar
I also could do this
twopointnine
Reading/Henley wouldn't be out of the question, just as long as it's a bacon butty/kicking tyres meeting rather than lunch in a restaurant.
Red5
No problem with that. Just need a date I can attend. I can only do a Sunday, never a Saturday sadly!
Founder Beanoir™ Posted July 14, 2016 Founder Share Posted July 14, 2016 (edited) How about Sunday 21st August? I'll sort a venue unless anybody has suggestions speak now. I'll start a new thread and stick it on the Facebook group and page And yes, bacon sarnies are the order of the day, and not too posh either! Bluedot
Don't rearrange on my behalf but I'm probably out for that date, booked a couple of nights in Paris although after yesterdays events it's not 100% we'll go, only the flights booked so far.
