I enjoyed that great story.  I was a massive BMW fanatic myself but haven't really driven my E92 M3 since purchasing my speed yellow 987 cayman.

Love Miami Blue it looks excellent

Porsche GB have loaned me a 320d while my 981 is being looked at (all sorted now) and after 10 BMWs over 32 years I have to say it is a pile of poo.

About as far away from a driver's car as you could get. My favourite was my E46 330ci Sport convertible. Had that for 9 years. They lost the plot after the E46 era.

You'll get used to a roof again, don't worry!

Great first intro post! Welcome Malcolm!

How are you finding the 718 compared to the 981?

p.s. I’m a BMW guy at the moment, since I had to get all sensible :33_unamused:

Early days yet as I only got it Yesterday.

But other than the way the engine sounds and performs it is pretty much like a 981. Also this is a PDK and not a manual, but it is much easier to drive fast, not so much revs needed and the acceleration is is much smoother as well as having more of it.

Does seems to grip the road better though and the steering is much more responsive.

Had a 320d as a company car a while back. It was not a sporty car at all.

A typical repmobile but wrapped in a BMW badge.
