Popular Post pandalf
Well it took a month or two once I had the money together, but I finally found the Cayman of my dreams. It wouldn't impress many who will read this - only a 2.7 and the beige leather look is not everyone's cup of tea. But the condition is literally showroom with only 14,000 miles. This will be a very pampered Cayman! Thanks to all on this forum who helped answer multiple stupid questions as I narrowed the search. Now I can feel like a "proper" member!

Bluedot
Welcome Only 14k miles on a 2.7 ?! Mind if I ask what year it is ? Looks immaculate.
DJMC
The interior looks more coffee than beige, certainly not too impractical to my mind. Looks good with the black too. Wheels with colour crests looking good as well. Welcome, congrats, enjoy!
aslan
Wow that's low mileage, and I thought my 2009 Cayman with 18k miles was low.... I quite like the interior colour
Madmoggy
Looks like a cracking motor, and the more I look at it the more I like the interior (but I couldnt live with it ). I thought mine was low miles at 28K
DKR_77
Great find, congrats! Stupid question, is it metallic or flat black?
Andy
Looks nice that, the interior looks really clean and a nice bright place to be. The little touches like the wheel crests make a huge difference I think!
pandalf
Thanks for the support. It is a 2008 model in dark metallic blue. The whole car is totally unblemished inside and out. I don't know what constitutes "concours" condition, but this one cannot be too far off. Now I have the challenge to keep it that way!

Founder Beanoir™ Posted March 13, 2016 Founder Share Posted March 13, 2016 Looks fantastic, nice photos too. Given the results on the other thread, I'd say your car is a prime candidate for a decent sealant, like the Gtechniq
pandalf
Never heard of it, but I will check it out.

This is it Some of the coatings need to be kept dry for 12 hours while they cure, or before you apply anything else. I would only apply it in a garage etc, just in case. Crystal Serum is an approved detailer product only.
Founder Beanoir™ Posted March 13, 2016 Founder Share Posted March 13, 2016 A lot of them are self-application now, they're so easy to apply to be honest provided you have a good clean base to apply it to.
