Popular Post Croc
Hello All, registered I believe in August last year - still looking for my car!! I'm pleased and relieved to confirm that "Gordon" has found a new home as of December 2019: A Safire Blue? 981S with PDK and two tone leather 😎 I still cant quite believe that I finally own one. Being the wrong side of my fifties the mark first caught my attention and interest during World of Sport: Rally Cross coverage with good old Murray Walker down in sunny old Kent (Lydden Hill). I recall how different the Rothmans livered cars looked and most importantly sounded to all the competion. I must confess with recent prices of the Air Cooled 911 variants I thought ownership was beyond my practical limits. A good friend said I would enjoy the Cayman and when I spotted the 981 aesthetically I was hooked. I'm a complete petrol head and confess to loving any form of transport which combines speed with noise - quality noise. I enjoy motorcycling Italian V/L twins in particular of which I'm an owner. I can confirm that I'm very pleased with my purchase: the cabin, switch gear and body work all look and have a quality feel and fit. I have coined a new phrase since ownership in describing the driving experience: I would describe the car as an instrument - responding to any and every input. I sincerely hope that Gordon will be a long term keeper. I have lots of external interests and suggestions for events and Breakfast club meets. I can confirm that I shall be attending the Shuttle Worth Collection Breakfast Club meet and am very much looking forwards to meeting like minded individuals - Regards Richard.

Croc
Peter/Daz, Thank you for your kind comments! I will be traveling up from Whitstable and so Maidstone is a slight detour. If you would like to meet on our common route to the Dartford Crossing I can suggest the Service area adjacent the Princes road interchange (A225) just off the A282 containing BP services and a McDonalds Restaurant. I'm keen to try the A505 link road either up or down to avoid using the A1M both ways. The A505 links M11 junction10 (Duxford) to the A1 near Baldock. Are you up for it? Are you up for it? watch out for the Gatso's on the 505 between Royston and Baldock. alternatively you could try M25, A10, off at Buntingford then take the switchback to Baldock
