Love this car, my definition of the perfectly sorted Cayman.

Not a criticism, but your wheels do look a bit tucked in I think, what offset are those rims?

Thanks.  They are ET 57 front and ET 46 rear, standard Cayman fitment 19 inch Carrera S II wheels, I am actually running them with 5mm spacers all round and GT3 extended bolts, I did have bigger spacers on the rear for a while but while I liked the look I didn't like how it drove.

Sorry Bushman only just saw you post.

Hard to remember exactly the difference but when I had 12mm spacers on the back the car felt less nimble and did not rotate as easily into a corner, more prone to understeer.

In the meantime I relented and went with black mirror caps.

Not much to update apart from replacing a leaky water pipe and a recent change to a factory Short shift kit which for £250 is money well spent and one of the best mods I have done.

Above pic from Feb track day at Silverstone where I accidently managed a 360 degree spin at about 80mph!

Still enjoying the car, thought about changing recently but cant think what could replace it for sub £50k.

Lucky to find this set of lightly used front and rear Girodiscs and Pagid Rs29 pads from a guy selling his Boxster Spyder. So far very impressed.

Where did you find the used Girodiscs.....been looking for months!! 😅

Stunning car by the way

Thanks Andrea. I got lucky as someone mentioned on Cayman R chat on Pistonheads that they were for sale on Boxanet.com forum.

Like you had been looking for a while and resigned myself to the fact it wasn't going to happen but these were effectively half price so had to go for it!

Still kicking myself about missing those bloody discs...

Car looks great crafty 👍

Thanks Swanny. Yeah sorry about that, I think the fact I could collect swung it!

Unless you are planning on tracking your car and often the standard discs can be made to work, also my car is a bit heavier than an R which doesnt help.
