Badge removal

Recommended Posts

Today I finally decided to debadge the car. I've never liked the Cayman badge on the back and I plan to put a Porsche Letter logo in black on in it's place. I took a few pics. First a hair dryer to remove script, then a tar remover for the glue. Cutting compound by polish and finally wax.

dental floss is a good way to "saw" between the letters and the body without damaging the lacquer.
