Today I finally decided to debadge the car. I've never liked the Cayman badge on the back and I plan to put a Porsche Letter logo in black on in it's place. I took a few pics. First a hair dryer to remove script, then a tar remover for the glue. Cutting compound by polish and finally wax.

nicely done - done it on my 986 before.. been too lazy for the cay - its getting that done next time is at the mechanic

dental floss is a good way to "saw" between the letters and the body without damaging the lacquer.

Mine was debadged. I quite like it :D.  It’s got nothing on the back now. Only thing that says cayman is the door sills.

I did this to my Cayman, this is the only picture I have of it before I kept modding...and its not a great angle.
