First of all I agree the prices are a touch ambitious, however why not? we should not be talking down the prices of our cars IMHO.

This same thing happened a few years ago on the S2000 forum, with owners talking down the values and ridiculing other peoples asking prices. What happened then was the values shot up ! (not as a direct result I admit) and to get a really nice Honda S2000 now will cost a lot of money.

At the end of the day we all buy on condition mainly and who's not to say those cars are not absolutely mint ?

I think any "drivers car" from the last 10-20 years may well  increase in value due to the mainly sterile cars being produced now :o

The list of prep work undertaken by the seller of the one in the first link is exactly the same as what I did to mine over the winter (apart from the PSE work that is :)) it goes in today for a new clutch and IMS/RMS seals.

Both the cars linked above look really nice, although having  a Guards Red myself I may be biased.

Cheers..

£19k for an S.1 that clearly has no Sport Chrono pack or mention of PASM etc etc !! I am not the sort of person to usually ridicule sellers' asking price but imo some folk are clearly delusional ... Just sayin'

There's another expensive one on Facebook Marketplace, made me chuckle:

2012 - Cayman S manual in White - 45k miles - £27500!

Maybe £22k is more reasonable?

Are you joking? It's a MANUAL gen2 S with relative low mileage. Price could be low depending on specs.

Look like nice cars but overpriced in my view. Still good luck to them if someone is willing to pay the asking price.

Do Atlas Grey cars command such a premium 🤔??

I'm pretty happy with how values are holding up on the Cayman in general. I don't feel like mine is losing money at an alarming rate like I did with my e89 Z4 that was some worrying depreciation on that car.
